The Field Research Office was formed in 2007 in response to­ concerns about the increasing requirements, regulations and responsibilities for researchers. This was developed to facilitate off-campus research activities both nationally and internationally.

The Bear Videos

The Bear Videos will be shown on upon request

Read the Bear Awareness/Avoidance information under Field Safety prior to viewing the Bear Videos. Watching the two videos will complete your bear training.

 

For available CPR & First Aid Courses offered at the U of A:

Go to: CPR & First Aid to find the list of available courses offered on campus. For off campus courses check under First Aid Courses on the side bar.  The Earth & Atmospheric Standard First Aid course will be offered prior to the EAS Field Schools heading out. 

 

Driving University Vehicles

For available Defensive Driving or Driver's Evaluation Courses: Go to the U-Drive Site and check under Recent Updates to see when courses are offered.
